ASTHA is a smart application that serves as a safety alert system in the Diamond Harbour Police District (DDPD) in Hong Kong. It is a mobile app that can be downloaded onto Android smartphones and tablets to assist law enforcement officers in the immediate response to any safety incidents.
ASTHA enables the public to alert police officers about any crimes and accidents that they have witnessed or are in danger of. The alerts will be sent to the control room of the DDPD. The application also allows the public to give information about the location of the incident and the situation of the victim.
